Another year is reaching its end and in anticipation of the New Year I can reflect on the events and achievements of the past year. 2019 was full of events for me – I changed practices, and accordingly, I had a new patient cohort to help, new coworkers to establish working relationships with, new work environment and schedule, new commuting patterns, new workout and nutritional routines, even new relationship and it also was one of the main items this year. I became an associate professor in two universities, I have taken my CSCS exam and became CSCS, I joined a new scientific community, I attended several good conferences and travelled the world a bit. I met with Dr.Devos (The Lifting Dermatologist) in person, you can check out our interviews here.
If you remember, I had lots of plans for 2019 and due to all of the changes in my life I had to make some corrections – I made 20+ videos instead of 30-40, I haven’t made a series on hormones, but I made one on the CSCS certification process. The CSCS preparation took a lot of time and mental effort, but in the end of the day, I am much better prepared to present exercise science to you and I definitely will work on some new ideas next year. I didn’t get to 8% body fat, but, not to make excuses, I had lots of reasons not to and I came close to it and I definitely have something to talk about next year.
Now, it’s time to wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year – I hope that the New Year will come with new hopes and aspirations, new achievements and new personal and career growth opportunities. I wish you all the best and I will see you there, in New Year, living your lives to the fullest.
I hope to be part of your self-improvement journey so feel free to ask me any questions and make comments, reach out for collaborations, and of course, subscribe to this website and to my YouTube channel – I am constantly working on new educational and research items to share with you.
Happy Holidays,
Dr.Sam
