Today is July 1st, 2020 – Canada Day, so I thought it would be great to make a short blog and to wish all my fellow Canadians Happy Canada Day!
2020 has been quite a year so far, and it's not over yet. We had the pandemic starting, all the countermeasures affecting our lives and our economy in so many ways. I see how hard it might be for people to celebrate today, but I don't want to focus on negatives. Life is an interesting thing – it goes on, no matter what. And I think that no matter how hard we were affected by all these events, we should try and take advantage of such adversities. Many of us cannot travel, we have lots of restrictions imposed on our work and leisure activities, but it also means that many of us have some time on our hands, and time is the greatest resource. We can use this time to introspect, to do some soul searching, to plan new endeavors and to prepare ourselves for them.
I hope this crisis will pass soon, things already started improving – businesses are re-opening, we are starting to attend certain events, making appointments. Lots of activities switched to online and since they are much more efficient this way, they will likely continue to be done virtually. Lots of people learned something about themselves during the lockdown and changed the way they do things. They became more efficient, they re-evaluated their priorities, became leaner, better organized, and now are set for success, which will come as our society gets back to normal.
I hope that many of us will see our current plans and dreams come through in the next months. I am looking forward to making more entries to my blog and my YouTube channel and I am working on some cool announcements to make later this year. But, today I am going on spend some time reflecting on the past year, making plans and enjoying this beautiful day in my amazing country.
Happy Canada Day, my friends!
Sincerely Yours,
Dr.Sam
